This post has been a long time coming – but we’ll address the elephant in the room later. For now, some floral musings about 2026 and all that has come to inspire our CORE COLLECTION this (no longer) new year ✿
Sometime in April last year, we welcomed a fresh bloom within our familial garden. Cody was a dandelion; and he brought with him a ray of spring that radiated a quiet yet spirited joie de vivre.
This wasn’t just the joy of a new beginning. As the months of 2025 rolled on and he slowly started to interface with anything from the petal of a tulip to the enormity of the Angsana down the street from our home, I found it strangely moving how alive the World appeared to him.
This childlike curiosity and playfulness was exactly what transpired into NuRSeRY – our CORE COLLECTION for 2026.
I think in pursuing FIBRE as a brand and business, I sometimes lost track of the joy of simply creating with flowers. Who would’ve thought that all it took was a dandelion to bring back the sparkle of playful ‘creating for the sake of creating’. I hope each arrangement in this collection inspires that same modest joy.
And so I took a few steps back this first half of the year – to focus both on what I think I want flowers to mean to me; and to figure out how best to express this to all of you who’ve followed us on this journey thus far.
I know I’ve been quiet on socials – but rest assured the gears are still turning; they just needed a little greasing. More will shared on the backstory behind our Valentine’s offering, but perhaps another day when I have the time again to sit with the flowers.
